IN THE EVENT OF SCHOOL
CLOSURE
If our school cannot
guarantee a safe and warm environment and has to close to some or
all year groups, we tell radio stations first thing in the morning.
It offers the quickest and most effective way to communicate with
the largest number of people. We advise parents and carers to listen
to local radio stations for the most up-to-date information whenever
snow or ice is affecting local roads. This is more reliable than
calling us directly, as we may find it difficult to respond to large
numbers of calls from parents, even if we are open. Alternatively,
check this home page which is updated daily during adverse
weather.
